Powers: Capable of using/changing any living vegetation she touches, as well as creating her own. Also has brief and often chaotic visions of a person's future, usually unintentionally.
Bio: Sanya was once the beloved student of the seer-druids that resided deep within the forests. But as the old woods were chased from the world by human hands, her teachers fled and no one thought to take the young nymph with them. So she was left to her own devices, and her naive and sheltered outlook has nearly cost her her life several times. She has difficulty controlling her druid powers, since her training was only half-complete when her teachers vanished to some other world. Without much purpose or drive she wanders the woods, though she has a scholar's interest in the human world and is curious about it. Because of her plant-nature she is drawn to places such as nurseries and parks, even if they bring her into the heart of a Cold-Iron city. Her constant companion is a thorny mortal-hating flower-sprite named Astelle that often serves as the common sense of the pair.

Weapons: Anything explosive, though he's perfectly capable at hand-to-hand combat
Powers: Has a subtle talent for handling dangerous substances without the detrimental consequences and for whatever reason the glamours of the weaker Fae don't affect him.
Bio: Pyromaniac? Not exactly. He just has an extensive knowledge of explosives, from your basic dynamite to the atomic bomb. Ever the rebellious and untamable child, he was actually abandoned by his parents when he was twelve. Blew up the basement one to many times it seemed. It doesn't seem to have effected him as much as it would have anyone else. Of course, normal never really applied to Darryl. Almost abnormally smart with a tongue and sense of humor to match, he only has to see something once to know how to make it. But his oddities have estranged him from the rest of 'proper' society, so he took to the fringes of it. More than once he has been the bomb man for a heist gang, and it's gotten him a tidy sum of money in a swiss bank account, but he only uses it to provide for the absolute necessities. A sleeping bag in the woods is far more comfortable than some swanky hotel room, where everything there reminds him that he doesn't belong. It was because of his habit of living in the slums and the lower ends of town that he first encountered the Fae. He trades with them sometimes, mainly hobs and the more mischievous of the Fair Folk. He is friends with some of them, as much as that word applies to the Fae.

Weapon: Weapons are for those with something to fear. Sometimes she uses crystals to serve as catalysts, however.
Powers: Powers of the Dark Court/summoning
Bio: It is unclear exactly how or why she became a Warden, when she could have easily become the Queen of the Unseliegh. Solitary by nature, she communes only with other Wardens when necessary, and is always accompanied by the raven Fiacha. She is almost ruthlessly dedicated to her job, though it seems like she has little love for either Fae or mortals.

Character Name: Ana Kolteski

Weapon: the mace her mother insists she carries with her...and some martial arts...taken without her mother's knowledge.
Power: Empathy/influencing the emotions of others with her own. She just doesn't realize she has it.
Bio: Ana would like to believe in the Fae and the unnatural, she just...can't. Not only because her friends mocked her for the fairy posters and figurines that had onced decorated her room, or because her mother believed she had outgrown such silly fantasies and daydreams and replaced all of her fairy tales and folk stories with textbooks, 'classic' novels and histories. She can't believe in them because they betrayed her once. She used to be friends with a Fae, a pretty child-like creature that called itself Mogget. They had had all sorts of adventures in the woods behind her family's first house, and would often stay out far later than she thought. But when she had tried to explain where she'd been to her enraged and panicked parents, they hadn't believed her. They moved to the middle of the city and she never saw Mogget again. Over the course of years and extensive therapy, they managed to convince her it was just a phase, and Mogget an imaginary friend she created out of boredom. And after awhile, when the same words were jammed into her head time and time again, she believed them. They were figments of her imagination, and the parts better left ignored.

Weapon: wrist-sheathed knives, catalysts
Powers: Has a higher tolerance than most Fae for Cold Iron, and can make living things out of inanimate objects for a time.
Bio: He was chosen as a spy, bodyguard and if need be an assassin because of his tolerance for Cold Iron. He's taken down more than a few dangerous mortal leaders in his time, as human protections do little to hinder him. Lysander specializes in all things subtle and elusive, for all that he is a member of the Bright Court. It's said that he loved once, but the woman's identity was unknown, even to his master. While he doesn't exactly hate mortals, he doesn't love them either and is above all loyal to his King and Queen, whatever they command of him shall be done.

Weapon: Silver knives/ Guns if necessary, anything sharp, really.
Power: shifting ability, copycat/ beast-speech and both possess 'switch' an ability that allows them to trade places with anyone they choose at a given moment.
Bio: Blayde and Erin are the children of an unexpected pregnancy. Their mother was human and their father was fae, but instead of becoming half-bloods, Blayde is Fae and his sister is Human. Mostly. The blood of both species shows up a little in both, since Erin possessed some not-so-human abilities, and Blayde showed an unnatural resistance to iron. Which suited them both perfectly.
However, their mother was a prominent figure in society, how she managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps was a mystery, but one thing was certain. She did not want her strange, bastard children. Soon after the birth, they were passed over to social workers for adoption, along with a generous 'donation' in order to keep their parentage secret. Blayde found out eventually, but Erin hardly cared. As long as they had each other, neither had much use for parents. Their oddity proved difficult for them, however, as the system was unable to place them in a home that could deal with both the sulky and often impulsive Blayde and the outrageous, rebellious Erin since they refused to be seperated. Erin learned how to pick locks and one day they just left the agency. They had no use for it, being much more at home making their beds under the stars and doing what they felt like. Blayde, however, needed to periodically leave the city, or he would get violently ill. Erin almost lost him once to Iron sickness, and swore she would never let it happen again. Just like she swore she'd never get caught again. She and Blayde have both been arrested, and a couple of times imprisoned, but never for long. They have little to do with the Fae, who like the rest of Human society, found them an odd and difficult pair. Mostly they just carve out their own space where they like, and that's that.

Bio: Lucivar could never by any means fit into a normal human hierarchy. He is an almost entirely pure-blood beastling, a rare and dangerous thing. Rare because such children rarely survive their first few years. Dangerous because their tempers are that much more volatile and their behavior that much more lethal. He was exiled from his clan for his accidental murder of one of the other kits, he was lucky that he was given that. Alone and unsure, he struggled daily with the feral side of his nature for control. Kindness and compassion do not come easily to him because it has been so long since he's had something to call his own, even his mind he has to share with the beast. With enough common sense to never try to fit in among the humans, who were such fragile, judgemental creatures, he has spent most of his time in the woods, avoiding human contact whenever possible. And he is slowly losing the battle for his mind and his control to the wild creature inside him.

Bio: A quiet boy, Collin is his mother's darling boy. Sheltered and overprotected, he is perhaps too intelligent for his age, and thanks to his true sight, has even deeper insights than most children. Rather than disturbing his parents, however, they loved him all the more, and spoiled him though it never showed in his nature. Perpetually sweet and respectful, he is often bullied by the larger boys at school, and has few friends.

Bio: She lives for her father. After all, she had no real mother to speak of, and grew up and quiet and dark-eyed child. While she is good at the social graces, a necessity, really, since she had to provide for most of her father's physical needs. Groceries and the like, since he didn't get out much. But the part of her that smiles and acts, well, normal? Is more of a well-cultivated mask she created for the worlds sake. Iron makes her uncomfortable, but the human blood in her makes it easy enough to handle. And not having that particular allergy makes it that much easier to blend in. For safety's sake, its better that way. But then...then something happened. She pissed someone off, or her father did, and next thing she knew, she was trapped in the body of a wooden doll, while her body died on the floor. And she's been stuck like that ever since, with no real way of knowing how to reverse it...and knowing she can't be what her father needs her to.

Bio: Layla would rather not be here. She was told she'd be working on a research project that would make her famous, and give her opportunity to do her own work, head her own project. Basically, she would have the money and the influence to fulfill the dream that has sustained her for so long. But at what cost? She knows she can't complain, every need she has is taken care of, she is paid handsomely, and she gets to deal with test subjects the world has never seen. And yet...the terror in their eyes tears at her heart, and if it weren't for her father, that she must support since he started spending his days looking for something in the bottom of the bottle instead of working, and the opportunities this job allows, she would quit. There is something about what they are doing to these...people, that just doesn't sit quite well with her.

Age: 37, though he seems more in his early twenties. He could easily pass as his daughter's brother.

Race: Half Seliegh
Weapon: He wasn't much of a fighter before recent events. He muddles his way through with anything he can get his hands on that's made of metal.
Power: Invulnerability to iron and power absorption. With a touch, he can siphon off enough of another person's life energy to temporarily develop their abilities. This often comes accompanied with more obvious speech patterns and behavioral ticks. Memories also tag along on a regular basis.
Bio: Fidelity has never been something the Fae were famed for, so it was by no means strange that his human father was left to raise the young Drake after he was dropped off by the Seliegh peasant who had engaged in a brief tryst with the mortal man. It was an awkward upbringing, not being able to touch someone directly without learning more about them than he ever wanted to. So he grew up to be a reclusive young man, with enough Fae in him to be distant from other people and enough human to resent it.
He didn't have any expectations at all when the Unseliegh woman came to him. There was something almost like love there, and she remained with him for longer than was typical for such relationships. But as soon as the child was born, the woman left, not wanting to be shackled by that manner of responsibility.
Elliana is Drake's only real connection to the world now. If anything were ever to happen to her...he'd destroy anything, everything, himself, the world, to see her safe again.

Weapon: Must everything truly come down to violence? His mother insists he carry a tazer with him at all times, but he barely bothered how to use it.
Power: Nothing at all, unless you count unusual perception.
Bio: People tend not to like Tristan. It's only human to resent those one feels inferior to, after all. And it is by no means difficult to feel sub-par compared to this particular young genius. At seventeen years, he's already well done with schooling and immersed in government-funded projects that would boggle the minds of many of his former professors. This is particularly unusual when one considers that neither of his parents were all that bright. It is rare that he tries to speak to either of them anymore, simply because their minds just don't operate on the same level as his.
As one might expect, he is remarkably underdeveloped emotionally. A certain level of arrogance has come with his intelligence, and as such he spent little to no time with others his age. He doesn't know how to act like anything other than a prodigy.
If there was anyone who bothered to ask, he'd tell them that he was fine with that. But the truth of the matter is, it's almost unbearably lonely.
